Privacy
Marathon Course doesn't ask who you are and doesn't sell or share anything about you. It uses Google Analytics to count visits. This page says what that records and what else happens when you visit.

What's stored in your browser
One setting: whether you've chosen kilometres or miles. It's kept in your browser's local storage so the choice survives the next visit, and it never leaves your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Who else sees a request
Like any website, loading a page sends your IP address and browser details to the servers that deliver it:
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and keeps standard request logs for a short time to run and protect it. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers those logs.
OpenFreeMap, which serves the map tiles on race pages and the explore globe.
None of them receives anything from us beyond what the request itself carries.
Analytics
Google Analytics counts visits: which pages are read, roughly where from, on what kind of device, and how people arrived. It sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy, and it isn't used for advertising.
To leave yourself out of the count on this browser, use the button below. It's remembered on this device; clearing your browser's site data resets it. Google's Analytics opt-out add-on does the same for every site that uses Google Analytics.
If you write to us
If you email a correction or a question, your message and address are used to reply and to check the point you raised, and for nothing else. They're not added to any list.
Your rights
Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, and the GDPR if you're in Europe, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. In practice that's only ever an email you sent. Write to zippy.ben@gmail.com.
